The only malware it found was something called Rogue.Multiple, the other 300 were non-malware threats- everything was sent to quarantine. Anything I else I could try? I really do not want to reformat as I don't have my Windows CD (that I could find)Įdit: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. Right now I am running a sfc /scanall in safemode on the computer, but I have no way of getting any of the information off of there to show you guys - Im currently on my laptop. Which is weird, because I remember having to do a restore back in 11/14. First off, there are 0 save points listed in my System Restore. So next logical thing would be to do a System Restore, right? Wrong. I did a little reading on the internet, and it looks like I messed up big, I've apparently deleted a lot of programs or system settings that I needed. The computer looks like it is still connected to the network, just no Internet accessability.

After they did their thing, my desktop popped up as normal- but noticed my sound speaker in the systray wasn't working, my Logitech driver crashed. When I booted back up, I noticed the computer came back a lot slower, my deskstop was left blank for not even a minute, when 3 msdos windows popped up, titled svcchost.exe or something? 3 different windows, same. Everything went through, and asked me for a reboot- so I rebooted. I went ahead and hit the "Recommendated Cleanup" button, or however they have it phrased.
